By accessing or using Neon Pong Arcade (“the Game”, “the Service”) at neonpong.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, guests, and registered users.

2. Description of Service

Neon Pong Arcade is a free browser-based arcade game. It offers single player modes against AI opponents, a 20-level campaign, local two-player modes, global leaderboards, and optional user accounts. No purchase is required to play.

3. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional. Guest play is available without registration. If you create an account you agree to:

• Provide an accurate email address and choose a username that is not offensive, impersonating, or misleading.
• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at legal@neonpong.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, use offensive usernames, or engage in behaviour that negatively affects other users.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to cheat, manipulate scores, or exploit bugs to gain an unfair leaderboard advantage.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the underlying infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Leaderboards and Public Data

Leaderboard entries display your chosen username and game scores publicly. By submitting a score you consent to your username and score being displayed on public leaderboards. Do not use your real name or sensitive personal information as your username.

6. Intellectual Property

All game content, graphics, code, and branding are the property of Neon Pong Arcade. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use of screenshots for social media sharing is permitted.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neon Pong Arcade and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes we will attempt to notify registered users by email.
